The Omneia Team
A team—there are many definitions for this frequently used word. According to Wikipedia, for example, a team is “a group of people who come together to solve a specific task or achieve a specific goal.” That definition would be too clinical for us; we’re much more than that.
The entire Omneia team is involved in everything from the initial idea through its implementation to day-to-day operations. While each team member brings different skills to the table, we all have one thing in common: We’re all experienced divers and passionate about finding and organizing diving trips that we ourselves would love to take part in.
Moni Hofbauer
leads Omneia and founded the company in 2009. Prior to that, she lived in Egypt and Thailand for over 15 years, where she worked as a PADI MSDT dive instructor and as a manager of dive centers and safari boats. Her expertise—gained through continuous on-site customer contact during that time—her experience from over 8,000 dives, and her love for the underwater world are what define Omneia.Every year, Omneia offers several liveaboard trips, which are led by Moni as a dive guide.
Rainer Mohr
holds a degree in business administration, heads a department for web-based software development, and is himself a specialist in such tasks. With incredible dedication, he structured and built Omneia’s website. He is the driving force behind Omneia and handles far more than just the programming here. Rainer also founded divelogs and runs www.divelogs.de. How he manages to do it all remains his secret.
Rosi-Moni Daller
the warm Cologne soul of Omneia, is a Divemaster and has logged around 500 dives in many different countries around the world. Her travels have taken her several times to the Red Sea, Turkey, Mexico, Australia, Sicily, and German lakes. Her greatest passion, however, lies in drop-offs and big-game fishing. At Omneia, Rosi-Moni handles customer service and always keeps track of which safari boats are available and when. She’s always ready to listen to any questions. And if a problem does arise, Rosi-Moni is the first to step in and provide customers with help and advice.
