Atolle der Malediven Nord

Das Haa-Alifu-Atoll ist das nördlichste Atoll der Malediven und liegt 280 km von der Haupstadtinsel Male entfernt. Dieses Atoll hat eine besondere Bedeutung für die Malediver. Hier liegt die Geburtsinsel des Volkshelden Muhammad Thakurufaanu (1573-1585).  

Sultan Ghaazee Muhammad Thakurufaanu befreite die Malediven von der portugisischen Fremdherrschaft. Das Atoll mit seiner Hauptstadt Dhidhoo hat ca. 10.000 Einwohner, die auf den 16 bewohnten Inseln leben. 24 weitere Inseln in dem Atoll sind unbewohnt.

Die Amba durchquerte als erstes Tauchkreuzfahrtschiff den Norden der Malediven und bietet Tauchtouren ab/bis Hanimaadhoo im Haa Alifu und Haa Dhaalu Atoll an. Der Transfer zum nördlichsten Atoll der Malediven erfolgt bequem mit dem Flugzeug (Flugdauer ca. 35-50 Minuten).

Nach Ihrer Ankunft in Male werden Sie bequem mit einem der Inlandsflieger nach Hanimaadhoo geflogen. Der Flug bietet Ihnen eine fantastische Aussicht auf die Atolle und Inseln der Malediven.
