The Wreck of the Kingstown at a glance

The wreck of this cargo ship lies on a sandy seabed off the coast of Guardavalle (CZ). It has broken into two pieces. The stern is located about 10 m away from the rest of the ship, while the bow points toward the beach.

Sponges of every shape and color, along with formations of reddish-brown stony corals, encrust the hull of this wreck, which has become a hunting ground for large sea bass and a home for small amberjacks. A dive particularly suitable for snorkelers and free divers.
