Festival de Fusiliers - Noonu Atoll

This tila is located in the middle of the channel between two uninhabited islands and can be reached by boat in 55 minutes.
The shallowest part of the Tila lies at a depth of 16 meters and forms a long, coral-block-studded reef ridge over which we drift. When the current is stronger, this dive becomes a bit more challenging.
This current-exposed Tila offers everything a diver’s heart desires: large schools of yellow-striped and gold-striped fusiliers envelop us like clouds during the dive. Schools of Bengal, humpback, blue-striped, and one-spot snappers, as well as Oriental, slate, black-spotted, and harlequin wrasse, hide among the coral boulders to escape the current and their natural predators. Time and again, we encounter curious Napoleon wrasses and batfish. Tuna and other large predators are frequently spotted here. On the west and northwest sides, stingrays and eagle rays can often be seen gliding over the deeper sandy areas. Every now and then, we even come across small groups of spotted dolphins underwater.
