Gota Abu Ramada

Also known as “The Aquarium.” The oval-shaped reef is surrounded by a sandy bottom that slopes down to a depth of 12–20 meters.   At Gota Abu Ramada, you can see everything the Red Sea has to offer in terms of schools of fish: schools of Red Sea gobies, bannerfish, and butterflyfish—and, unfortunately, schools of divers as well.   Gota Abu Ramada isn’t just beautiful—it’s also a popular stop for many day-trip boats. The boats anchor on the south side, and hidden among the small coral blocks beneath the anchorages are the great-grandmothers of all the moray eels in the Red Sea.   Night dives at Gota Abu Ramada are highly recommended.
