House Reef Diving.DE Flamenco Beach

The dive site

House Reef Diving.DE Flamenco Beach at a glance

The breathtakingly beautiful house reef is a sheer cliff that appears to drop straight down into the abyss to a depth of 55 meters (the prescribed depth limit is 30 meters). Even die-hard diving pros are thrilled by this pristine and wonderful reef.

You can reach the snorkeling and diving platform for entering and exiting the reef via the wide boardwalk. A convenient ladder on the platform makes it easy to get out of the water.

Of course, the diving.DE team will transport your tanks directly to the dock—no one has to carry them here.

The edge of the fringing reef runs directly beneath the dock. On a dive at the house reef, you’ll float over a fascinating and pristine coral landscape with many overhangs and ledges. Here you’ll encounter all the usual inhabitants of the Red Sea, including sea turtles, barracudas, and—with a little luck—even a reef shark might cross your path. Every now and then, schools of dolphins swim by, much to everyone’s delight.

When they hear the term “house reef,” many divers think of a dive site used solely for training and instruction, with nothing else to offer. Here, it’s different—this house reef is a spectacular dive site! To protect the reef, no training sessions (beginner courses) are held at the house reef. The reef is as pristine as it was on day one, and with a little luck, you’ll see everything a diver could
ever dream of swimming by here.
