Mena Dive Center Safaga's House Reef at a glance
The house reef lies at a depth of up to about 9 meters.
If you have good eyesight or a guide with you, you can spot seahorses or seagrass ghostfish in the large seagrass bed.
Two small coral formations are connected by nicely overgrown ledges. The amphorae lying on the sandy bottom show divers the way to the reef. Shrimp and moray eels live in the amphorae.
At the reef, divers can enjoy the full diversity of the Red Sea, including numerous Arabian angelfish, octopuses, crocodilefish… and sea turtles are also regularly spotted.
