Mousetrap

This reef extends underwater from Sira Island all the way to Junn Island. From the shallow lagoon, a sandy channel leads down to -18 m. The reef runs from north to south. It’s not worth heading straight down to the deepest point, because about 30 meters past the entry point to the reef, there’s a cave at about -7 meters. Large tuna and small sharks like to rest there. Along the reef, you’ll often be accompanied by huge schools of yellowfin barb and snappers.
Toward the end of the dive, you’ll leave the wall and ascend to the reef top, which stretches from -10 m up to -5 m.
