Mulaku Kandu - Meemu Atoll

The Meemu (Mulaku) Atoll boasts a total of 15 channels, making it an absolute MUST for big-game fishing enthusiasts! These channels are consistently a highlight for various shark species; here at Mulaku Kandu, early in the morning you can even spot hammerhead sharks alongside gray reef sharks and whitetip sharks. The entrance to the channel is at about 25 meters, before it drops abruptly to great depths. In the blue water, eagle rays, barracudas, and large schools of mackerel glide with the current, and in the channel itself, you’ll often find sea turtles and stingrays on the snow-white sand.
