Protector Reef

It is a large barrier reef with an enclosed lagoon right in the middle. Diving takes place at the southern end, where an elongated reef stretches for several hundred meters at a depth of 2 meters before gradually sloping down. A very narrow plateau extends for 200 meters, sloping gently toward the south. The eastern wall features an impressive landscape, with a plateau that reaches down to 45 meters before dropping off into the depths. After diving for a while in the open water to look for eagle rays, hammerhead sharks, and gray reef sharks, You may run the risk of not reaching your destination due to a northeasterly current that is usually present there. Because of this, this spot is home to the most beautiful soft corals alongside whitetip reef sharks and humphead parrotfish.
