Punta Galinda at a glance
This large and very easy-to-dive grotto captivates divers underwater with its extraordinary rock formations and natural cavities.
Over thousands of years, large round stones have worn almost perfectly circular holes into the rock, and the walls provide ideal hiding places for octopuses and habitats for a wide variety of snail species.
The “highlight” is the stunning view from the darker end of the grotto toward the azure-blue exit. Here, the sunlight creates an almost surreal curtain of rays of fascinating beauty.
The dive begins with a very diverse underwater landscape in front of the grotto’s entrance and features a beautiful arch to swim through, numerous rocks, and large patches of seagrass.
