The dive site

Shaab Jumna at a glance

This well-known reef is renowned for its magnificent underwater world; it is located about 50 km from Port Sudan and is marked by a small lighthouse. Abysses and canyons run along the steep wall.

It’s a beautiful reef with the usual schools of fish. You often see large schools of hammerhead sharks swimming by. On the eastern side, there’s a large cave where whitetip sharks frequently rest.
