Abu Fandera

This tour starts and ends in Port Ghalib and takes you to St. Johns, Abu Fandera, and Elphinstone Reef. St. Johns delights divers with its colorful coral gardens, schools of fish, reefs with cave passages, several shipwrecks, breathtaking wall dives, and, not to be forgotten, the spectacular night dives. Adjacent to St. Johns lies the Abu Fandera reef area. The dive sites in Abu Fandera have a reputation for being breathtakingly beautiful. With its colorful coral gardens and deep plateaus, the Abu Fandera reef area features many reefs that are virtually untouched. This route has a pioneering character. The final highlight of this safari route is the legendary Elphinstone Reef. This route is offered on 7-, 10-, 11-, and 14-day safaris. On a seven-day safari, however, due to the long travel distances, you’ll only have a maximum of three dives in the Abu Fandera reef area.
