The safari route

What awaits you on this route

These safaris take place during the dry season, from January through about the end of April. Depending on weather conditions, these week-long safaris visit the following atolls: North Male Atoll – South Male Atoll – Vaavu Atoll – Mulaku Atoll. The safaris begin and end in Male.

These liveaboard trips to the southern atolls are an absolute “must” for big-game fishing enthusiasts! From the strong-current outer channels of the atolls, home to gray reef sharks, manta rays, eagle rays swimming in formation, and large stingrays, to exposed reefs teeming with life—it’s all here! Macro enthusiasts and photographers will also get their money’s worth here with nudibranchs, anglerfish, wobberfish, and colorful anemones, to name just a few. The itinerary also includes a visit to a local island and a barbecue on the beach of a deserted island (weather permitting) during the week.
Tours are subject to weather and seasonal conditions and may change on short notice! However, the experienced dive guides will always do their best to take you to the best dive sites, weather and diving experience permitting!
